Everything Happens to Me (1980 film)

Buddy haut den Lukas is an Italian action comedy by Michele Lupo 1980 with Bud Spencer in the lead role. It is the sequel to The Great Alien to his children.

Action

After the alien boy H7 -25 has remained on Earth, sheriff Craft has hung his job on the nail and touring on the run from the military with his now "Charlie" baptized adopted son through the country. In this case, both reach the southern town of Monroe. Here bloom crime and violence, since the place has no sheriff. After initial doubts to Craft can finally convince Charlie and accepts the job. With powerful arguments he can get at the marauding fiends, thus gaining the support of the population and of all trades Howard, who is active in Monroe mayor, radio DJ, Richter, laundry owners and fireman.

Incidentally Craft but also overwhelmed with H7 -25, as this is always going to giveaway his true origin. Charlie also draws constantly by a local military base, as he here aliens suspected of a neighboring galaxy which build androids and want to enslave humanity by brain manipulation. Craft does from the Charlies suspicions as childish fantasy, but when the boy the sheriff presents evidence that he believes him finally. As Craft, the authorities want to turn on, these have long been manipulated by the aliens and let Craft imprison. Craft can indeed escape from the prison, but not prevent the aliens kidnap Charlie.

The enemy aliens then mobilize a large police force, which Craft and the sheriff now supporting city gangster oppose then. There will be a big brawl on the folk festival "Eldorado Days". The aliens do it during the fight to bring Craft under mental control and summon him to their headquarters. Here, however, it turns out that the sheriff has only played the brainwashing. Craft finally manages to turn the Androidenarmee as well as the leader of the aliens to rescue Charlie and avert the threat.

At the end of a parade given for Craft, which were interrupted by the approaching military, which is still in search of H7 -25 and its photon cannon. But with the help of these two can escape. The final image contains Craft and Charlie flying on a vintage car through the universe.

Locations

One of the locations is Monroe in Walton County ( Georgia): In a scene towards the end of the film, in the sheriff Craft the city gangsters gathered behind him, is to see the Walton County Courthouse. • The Christmas carol Silent night is included only in the Italian version cut.
• The title song Mr. Nothingoesright can also be heard in the credits. In between is also an instrumental version (including brawl in the laundry / in the amusement park )

Interface versions

Note: The information on the versions relate, unless otherwise stated, to the 2013 in Universum Film released DVD (No. 88765 42690 9).

In the German dubbed version is missing about 16 minutes, including an extended scene in which Charlie sings with other children at a public Christmas party. Craft then acts as Santa Claus and is unmasked by Charlie, who does not receive a gift. Moreover, the scenes in the bar and in the parade at the end are a little longer. A scene, the boy looks in the Craft to the sound of L ' Ultimo Valzer in a forest, is also missing. Whereas the Universe DVD of 2013, the Italian version cut down German synchronization causes a contradiction here: The Sheriff Howard calls and asks to see if Charlie is at home in bed him. Howard replied that the boy was with him. Quote: And then he has gone a little walk and fell into the creek. He's a little wet, I 'll bring him home '. After he has made racketeer harmless, Craft, however, investigated in the woods and finds the unconscious boy. In the German version cut can be seen right after the scenes in the bar Charlie in the hospital bed.

• In the teaser sequence, the military are deflected by a spaceship from H7 -25 's father, according to which Craft and Charlie can leave unmolested. The recordings of the flying object itself comes from the British science fiction series UFO.

DVD releases

• The film was released on 3 March 2005 at Paramount on DVD.
• The 2013, released by Universum Film DVD contains the abridged German and the original Italian cut version. The language in both versions is German, the additional scenes are in Italian with German subtitles.
