Arthit Sunthornpit

Arthit Sunthornpit ( Thai: อาทิตย์ สุ นท รพิ ธ, born April 19, 1986 in Khon Kaen ) is a Thai football player at the position of midfielder. He plays for the FC Chonburi in the Thai Premier League.

Career

He spent his teenage years at Assumption College Sriracha, in which he also played football team. Since 2007 he plays for the professionals of Chonburi. Previously, he played a total of 52 games for the club, scoring 12 goals. He is a regular player and a mainstay of the team. In 2007 he was with the club champions of the Premier League and won the 2008 and 2009 Super Cup. In the AFC Champions League 2008 season, he played five of six group matches. In the first group match against Gamba Osaka, the eventual winner of the competition, he scored the 1-0 for Chonburi. The game ended 1-1.

Since 2008, Arthit is also Thailand's national team and participated with the squad at the ASEAN Football Championship. In the group match against Laos him thereby pass his first two goals for the national team. Previously, he was already in the cadre of U -23 and won with the team the gold medal at the SEA Games 2007., He is also in the South East Asia Games 2009 squad and is used.
