Arthur Batanides

Arthur Batanides ( born April 9, 1922 in Tacoma, Washington; † January 10, 2000 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American actor.

Besides his numerous television appearances Batanides played in the films by Alfred Hitchcock, In the clutches of the underworld, Columbo: Devilish intelligence and Brannigan - A man of steel. One of his most famous roles was that of Max Kirkland in the Police Academy parts Police Academy 2 - Their First get going, Police Academy 3 - ... and no one can hold them back, Police Academy 4 - And now it's round and Police Academy 6 - resistance is futile. After his appearance in Police Academy, he withdrew into retirement.

He died on 10 January 2000 at the age of 77 years in Los Angeles.
