Arthur Golden

Arthur Golden ( born December 6, 1956 in Chattanooga, Tennessee) is an American writer.

Golden studied at Harvard art history with a focus on Japanese culture. He then spent several years in Japan. The 1997 published novel Memoirs of a Geisha is his first book, on which he has worked for almost ten years. Golden lives with his wife and two children in Massachusetts.
