Arthur Mahler

Arthur Mahler ( born August 1, 1871 in Prague, † May 2, 1916 in Vienna) was an Austrian- Czech art historian, archaeologist and politician Classic.

After completing his schooling at the Gymnasium in Prague Mahler studied art history and archeology at the universities of Prague and Vienna. In Prague, he became a member of the Jewish- Academic Connection Barissa. In 1902 he was a lecturer at the German Charles-Ferdinand University in Prague. He also gave a series of lectures at the School for American Archeology in Rome. He was a staunch Zionist. Mahler was also 1907-1911 for the Jewish National Party Member of the House of Representatives.
