Arthur Valerian Wellesley, 8th Duke of Wellington

Arthur Valerian Wellesley, 8th Duke of Wellington KG, LVO, OBE, MC ( born July 2, 1915 in Rome ) is a British peer, Brigadier and entrepreneurs.

Life and career

Wellesley attended Eton, and the University of Oxford. During World War II he served in the Household Cavalry, in the postwar period he rose to become commander of the Household Cavalry Regiment. Later he was serving in the British Army of the Rhine, until he was forced into retirement in 1968.

Until 1989, he was then employed by the agricultural machinery manufacturer Massey Ferguson as manager.
