Artie Lange

Artie Lange ( born October 11, 1967 in Union Township, New Jersey, native Arthur Steven Lange Jr. ) is an American actor, stand-up comedian, and screenwriter.

Life and work

Lange visited during some months of the year 1987, the Connecticut School of Broadcasting. After the fatal accident of his father he gave up his plans of studying on a college and took several jobs, including as a taxi driver. After that, he appeared as a comedian in New York City, including as a member of the group Live On Tape, which he co-founded. In the years 1995 to 1997 he appeared in the television series MADtv, for which he also wrote several screenplays.

In the comedy Dirty Work (1998 ) took a long time next to Norm MacDonald one of the main roles.
