Artyom Dzyuba

Artem Sergeevich Dsjuba (Russian Артём Сергеевич Дзюба; born August 22, 1988 in Moscow, Soviet Union ) is a Russian footballer who acts in the position of striker. He is currently with the Russian first division side FK Rostov under contract.

Career

Association

Dsjuba began his career in the youth team of Spartak Moscow and was a regular player of the second team. In 2006 he completed a professional contract with Spartak and denied in the Russian Cup against Ural Yekaterinburg his first competitive game. Throughout the season with seven missions he scored a single goal. In the 2007 season, Dsjuba was able to beat the competition and played 21 games and scored three goals. To Premjer League season 2008, he was banished to the bench, but he was at the end of the season with six goals, best in his team. His debut in the UEFA Cup Dsjuba celebrated on 18 December 2008 against the English club Tottenham Hotspur. He scored two goals. Since early 2009 he has been on loan at Tom Tomsk.

For the Russian U-19 national team, he so far completed four games and scored one goal.

Dsjuba involved in an animal rights organization, which campaigns for stray dogs in Russia.
