AS Dragons FC de l'Ouémé

Association Sportive Dragons Football Club de l' Ouémé is a Beninese football club from Porto Novo.

History

The Club has 12 championship titles of the giants of the Championnat du Bénin. In addition, the Mennschaft six times the National Cup won. In the 1987 season, the Dragons de l' Oueme reached with their dream team from the Stars Abédi Pelé, Peter Rufai, Bashirou Gangbo and Kingston Ashabi under the leadership of then club president Moucharaf Gbadamassi the semi-finals of the African Cup Winners' Cup. In the semifinals, however, decide the Dragons lost the match against Gor Mahia Kenyan champion with 2:3.
