As Tall as Lions

As Tall as Lions was an American rock band.

History

The band was formed in 2002 on Long Iceland / New York by Daniel Nigro (vocals, guitar, piano ), Saen Fitzgerald ( guitar) and Glifford Sarcona founded (drums).

After the publication of the EP Blood and Aphorisms, the band signed a contract with the American indie label Triple Crown Records and released their LP Lafcadio in spring 2004. Shortly thereafter came Julio Tavarez, who is a good friend of the band members, as a bass player to the band.

In August 2006, the band released their first official studio album, As Tall as Lions is called. Then it was three years quiet around the band.

In 2009 they had their second album, You Can not Take It with You is called. This album made ​​it to the 88th place in the U.S. Top 100 chart and the 36th place of the U.S. rock charts at Billboard.

In September 2010, the band announced to dissolve. Nigro joined a music project with the name of the block. The other three musicians continued to play together. They formed the side project Kilimanjaro.
