As You Drown

As You Drown is a Swedish Deathcore band from Borås. The group consists of Henrik Blomqvist (vocals), Simon Exner (guitar), Mikael Akerstrom (guitar), Robert Karlsson (bass) and Martin Latvala (drums). As You Drown stand with Metal Blade Records and released their debut album in 2009 with Reflection.

History

The group was founded in 2001, it has been called since 2003 As You Drown. Within two years, the band name was changed twice. The band was founded under the name Eternal Chaos. Before the group was given its present name, was one Etheral. The band was originally a classic Swedish death metal band, since the name change to As You Drown the music style was a hint of metalcore elements.

Former musicians Alexander Persson (bass ), Christopher Ranåsen (vocals) and Totte (vocals ).

The beginning of 2010 they were together with the Polish metal band Vader and the British formation Divine chaos a tour of Britain, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France.
