Asag

Asag ( " hitting the arm ") is a Sumerian demon.

He is one of Sebettu, which were created by An, the city god of Uruk. He is said to cause diseases, let it dry well and cover the earth with wounds to the then his venom is injected. He is often equated with the Akkadian Asakku.
