ASC Corona 2010 Brașov (football team)
ASOCIATIA Sports Club Corona 2010 Brasov is a Romanian football club from Braşov. The club was founded in 2007, has never been Romanian football champions to date, is currently playing in League 1 and plays its home matches at the Stadionul Tineretului, which seats 8,500 spectators.
History
The association ASOCIATIA Sports Club Corona 2010 Brasov was founded in 2007 under the name Sport Club Municipal Braşov. Three years later, then the name change took place and the current club name was introduced. Corona Brasov experienced in the first years of its existence, such a steep climb as it was rarely happened before in the history of Romanian football. Within four years, the club grew to three times and finished first of the season two of the League 2 2012/13 before ACS Poli Timişoara the first promotion to the top division in the Romanian football, only six years after the founding of the association. A similar feat was previously only the now-defunct FC Victoria Brăneşti in the period from 2006 to 2010 succeeded.
So now since the 2013/14 season can be found Corona Braşov in the Romanian top flight football, but where the club got off to a rather poor start to the season. After ten game days you had achieved still no victory, much more went eight of ten games lost.
Play their home games Corona Braşov currently in Stadionul Tineretului out, this is actually the home of local rivals FC Braşov. This is due to the fact that the actual home stadium of Corona Braşov, Silviu - Ploeşteanu the stadium with his good thousand spectators is too small to align games of the first Romanian football league. While it was slightly renovated in 2010, but it was enough then but not enough for the League 1 Therefore Corona Braşov plays for the duration of his excellence in Stadionul Tineretului where 8,500 spectators.
