The Ashuelot River is a left tributary of the Connecticut River in the U.S. state of New Hampshire.

The Ashuelot River forms the outflow of Butterfield Pond in Pillsbury State Park north of Washington. It flows south to Marlow. Halfway he is dammed to Ashuelot Pond. The NH Route 10 follows now in parts of the river as far as Winchester. The Ashuelot River performs an arc to the west and then south. North of Keene, it flows through the reservoir Surry Mountain Lake. After flowing through the city of Keene turns the river to the southwest and then westward. Along the river are the towns of West Swanzey, Winchester, Ashuelot, and finally just before the mouth of Hinsdale. The Ashuelot has a length of 103 km. Below Keene are several covered bridges along the river.
