Aslan Tkhakushinov

Aslan (also Aslantscheri ) Kitowitsch Tchakuschinow ( born July 12, 1947 in Uljap, Adygea, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian politician and since December 13, 2006, the President of the Russian Republic of Adygea. He is a member of the United Russia party, the Academy of Social Sciences and the Academy of Natural Sciences of the Russian Federation.

He was also the longtime president of the National Technical University of Maikop and is president of the football club Druzhba Maikop.
