Aspres-sur-Buëch

Aspres -sur -Buëch is a commune with 826 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Hautes-Alpes department in the Provence- Alpes- Côte d' Azur

Geography

The municipality is located in the French Alps. The amount varies 727-2063 meters above sea level. The town lies on Buëch, 26 kilometers west of Gap. In Aspres the highways Valence- Gap crossing ( Route nationale 75 ) ( Route nationale 93) and Grenoble- Sisteron.

Demographics

The population remained since 1793 always constant at about 600-800 inhabitants. Only 1886, 1200 and after the First World War, with less than 600 inhabitants, there were exceptions.
