Asprihanal Pekka Aalto

Ashprihanal Pekka Aalto ( born August 27, 1970, Finland ) is an ultra-marathon runner. He began running as a hobby at the age of 25, he worked as a courier. Ashprihanal is a disciple of the Indian guru Sri Chinmoy. Finnish President Tarja Halonen awarded him in 2006 the title of " International Ambassador of Sports ."

Career

Since 2006 he is the holder of the second best time of the 3100 Mile Races. Aalto ended in 2006 in the San Francisco One Day 24 hour endurance race with a total of 201 km. He is a three -time winner of The Self - Transcendece Six Day Race in New York City ( in six days, 1208 km ). Within three years he ran all three annual multi-day runs ( six day race, 3100 mile race, 700 miles). It has the world's longest certified race the Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race won seven times, in 2009 with a time of 43 days 16:28:06 overflowed with an average of more than 112 kilometers.
