Aspudden metro station

Aspudden is an underground station of the Stockholm Metro. It is located in the homonymous district Aspudden. The station is owned by the Röda linjen the Stockholm subway system operated. It is one of the more moderate frequented stations of the metro network. On a normal working day here rise to 5,000 commuters and around.

The station was taken on April 5, 1964 as a 52 station of the Tunnelbana in operation, as the first section of Röda was inaugurated linjen between T- centralen and Örnsberg. The platforms are located about 15-20 meters below ground. The station is located between the stations Liljeholmen and Örnsberg. Stockholm Central Station is approximately five kilometers.
