Liljeholmen metro station

Liljeholmen is an underground station of the Stockholm Metro. It is located in Liljeholmen district. The station is served by the Röda linjen the Stockholm subway system as well as the light rail similar Tvärbanan that holds on the north, above-ground entrance to the station. The station itself is located rather in deep level, beneath a residential complex, since the trains to the station for a short distance run above ground. The central location makes the station to a much frequented stations of the metro network. On a normal working day here rise to 24,000 commuters and around.

The station was taken on April 5, 1964 in operation, as the first section of Röda was inaugurated linjen between T- centralen and Fruängen or Örnsberg. The station was built in an open design. The station is located between the stations Hornstull and Aspudden (T13 ) or Midsommarkransen (T14 ). Stockholm Central Station is about 4 km.
