Midsommarkransen metro station

Midsommarkransen is an underground station of the Stockholm Metro. It is located in the homonymous district Midsommarkransen. The station is owned by the Röda linjen the Stockholm subway system operated. It is one of the more moderate frequented stations of the metro network. On a normal working day here rise to 5,000 commuters and around.

The station was taken on April 5, 1964 as the 54th station Tunnelbana in operation, as the first section of Röda was inaugurated linjen between T- centralen and Fruängen. The platforms are located approximately 17 meters below the ground. The station is located between the stations Liljeholmen and phone plan. Stockholm Central Station is approximately five kilometers.
