Association "Polish Community"

The Stowarzyszenie " Wspólnota Polska " ( German Association "Polish Community") is a non-governmental organization under the auspices of the Senate of the Republic of Poland. The aim of the association is to promote the Polish diaspora abroad in the maintenance of cultural and national bond with the homeland.

The association " Wspólnota Polska " was founded in 1990 in Warsaw and is responsible among other things for the award of the provided by the Polish Senate grants to Polish NGOs abroad. To implement the funding objectives, the Polish education abroad, foreign media for Poland as well as efforts to enforce the rights of national and ethnic minorities are supported, among others. The majority of the funding is used for the Polish diaspora in the Central and Eastern European countries.

The association organizes the annual World Games of Poles abroad.
