Asystel Volley Novara was an Italian women's volleyball club from Novara, who took part in the highest Italian league, the Serie A1, volleyball as well as the Champions League.

History

The club was founded in 1984 as Società A.G.I.L. Founded Trecate, where A.G.I.L. for amicizia, gioia, impegno e lealtà ( German friendship, joy, commitment and loyalty ) stood. By 1996, the club participated in regional competitions, before he rose from the series B2 in the third-class series B1. 1998 came with the first place in Group A of the Series B1 promotion to the second division, the series A2.

A year later rose A.G.I.L. athletic again in the series B1, but could remain in the second division for non ascent of other teams. At the end of the season 2000/ 01 followed by second place in the main round of the championship series A2 and the associated promotion to the top division, the Serie A1. In addition, Novara won the Pokalwettberwerb Series A2.

Before the first season in Serie A1, called the club in Asystel Novara. Since then, Novara won the 2003 and 2009 Italian Super Cup, the 2004 Cup competition, and the CEV Cup in 2003 and 2009. Thrice (2003, 2004 and 2009 ) the club also reached the playoff final of the series A1, but could never be champion.

2012 Asystel Volley Novara was dissolved.
