Atanas Zehirov

Atanas Sechirow (also Atanas Zehirov written, Bulgarian Атанас Зехиров; born February 13, 1989 in Kotschan ) is a Bulgarian football player. He plays since 2010 at CSKA Sofia in A Grupa, the highest Bulgarian division.

Career

Sechirow began his career in the youth team of CSKA Sofia, where he was brought into the first team in 2009. His debut in the top Bulgarian league gave the midfielder 2 May 2009 against FC Chernomorets Burgas, where he appeared as a substitute in the 69th minute. The game was won 1-0 in Burgas. This season, he came up with four more missions and scored against locomotive Mezdra a hit. CSKA was runner-up. After another fall season in Sofia Sehirow played a spring season at OFK Sliven 2000 with which he could reach 13th place in the league.

Previously, he was with CSKA yet his debut at European club level. In the play-off match of the UEFA Europa League against Dinamo Moscow he came on in the 62nd minute. The game ended 0-0.

Since summer 2010 he is back in the squad of CSKA.
