Athens School of Fine Arts

The College of Fine Arts in Athens (Greek Ανώτατη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών, english Athens School of Fine Arts ) is a leading university of the liberal arts in Greece. She leads the two departments Free art and art history theory.

The school was founded in 1837 and was initially a department of the National Technical University. She received in 1910 the status of an independent university. The old campus and the administration are located in the Patision Str 42 1992 attracted most areas to the new campus at the Piraeus Str 256 in a former textile factory from the 1950s, which was specially converted for the art school.
