Atlantic Sea-Park

The Atlantic Park, Norwegian Atlantic Sea, is one of the largest saltwater aquariums in Northern Europe.

Opened in 1998 by King Harald V. Atlantic Park is located west of the Norwegian city of Ålesund on the headland Tueneset the sea.

The display aquarium covers an exhibition area of ​​around 4,000 m² with eleven large landscape aquariums, two open display tanks, a deep-sea aquarium and many smaller aquariums. The main attraction is a four million liters large saltwater aquarium, showing the fish stocks off the Norwegian coast as cod, catfish, sea eel and halibut. In addition, a 6,000 square-foot outdoor area including a small beach belongs to the Atlantic Park.
