Atlas Economic Research Foundation

The Atlas Economic Research Foundation is a charitable foundation established in 1981 by Antony Fisher to promote neoliberal policies. Was named the organization after the novel Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.

Organization

The focus of Antony Fisher was directed to the construction and the global networking of liberal think tanks.

The budget of the Foundation in 2001 was about 2.5 million U.S. dollars. Based in Arlington, Virginia Foundation coordinates communication between about 200 think tanks and helped so far around 100 think tanks in construction work.

The Foundation awards annually since 1990 by the Fisher Award.
