Atomic Energy Organization of Iran

The Iranian Atomic Energy Agency (english Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, AEOI ) is the responsible for all nuclear facilities of Iran authority with headquarters in Tehran's Amir Abad district.

The mid- 1990s, the AEOI of Resa Amrollahi was conducted. Gholam Reza Aghazadeh 1997, was appointed by then Minister of Petroleum to Amrollahis successor. In June 2009, Aghazadeh resigned surprising. His successor was Javad Rahiqi. Javad Rahiqi is mentioned as the only person in the Resolution 1929 of the UN Security Council in particular, and subject to the travel restriction.

According to Ali Akbar Salehi Rahiqi was in the Cabinet Ahmadinejad II Minister of Atomic Energy, until May 26, 2011 President Mr of the Iranian Atomic Energy Agency, which was then managed temporarily briefly by Mohammad Ahmadian. Ahmadian has worked as deputy chief under Fereidun Abbassi for the organization today.
