Zeus on the summit

The 1,215 m high Attavyros (Greek Αττάβυρος, with Ataviros, Attaviros or Atabyrios transcribed ) is the highest mountain on the Greek island of Rhodes in the Mediterranean. The massive mountain is located south of the village Embonas in the middle west of the island in the Attavyros chain. His West Summit, which is located about 4.5 km south-west of the main summit, rises 1,062 meters high.

Mythological significance
