Attilio Dottesio

Attilio Dottesio (* July 16, 1909, Desenzano del Garda, † February 12, 1989 in Rome ) was an Italian actor who appeared in nearly 200 films over five decades.

Life

Dottesio began his career in show business in France, where he held engagements as a singer. After returning to his home, he attended the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and was since his first film in 1940 in a number of (mostly minor ) roles to see any genre; in a number of movies from the 1960s, he was also active in the producer staff. The mostly bearded, graying already middle-aged actor was particularly common, namely almost 40 times, in spaghetti westerns on; often under pseudonyms such as Dean Reese, William Burke and Arthur Dotte. A separate documentary from 1955 remained unpublished.
