Auburn Township is one of 16 townships of Crawford County in the U.S. state of Ohio. According to the census in 2000 897 inhabitants were registered here.

Geography

Auburn Township is located in the extreme north east of Crawford County in north-central Ohio and bordered clockwise to the townships: Richmond Township, Huron County, New Haven Township (Huron County), Plymouth Township, Richland County, Sharon Township ( Richland County), Vernon Township, Sandusky Township and Cranberry Township.

Management

The township is administered by a Board of Trustees consisting of three elected members. Two persons are elected in the year after the presidential election and one each in the previous year. The term of office lasts four years, beginning on 1 January. There is also a Township Clerk ( responsible for finance and budget), which is also elected in the year before the presidential election to a four -year term. Whose term of office begins on April 1.
