Audi Type E

The Audi Type E was a passenger of the upper class, the Audi Automobile Works Zwickau GmbH ( from 1915 Audi Werke AG Zwickau ) in 1912 brought out in addition to the smaller type B, type C to the middle and large type D. He was the greatest pre-war cars from Audi.

The vehicle had built a four-cylinder IOE - two-block engine with 5.7 liter displacement front. He developed 55 hp at 1650 1/min. Over a four-speed countershaft gearbox and a propeller shaft, he drove to the rear wheels. The car had a ladder frame and two leaf-sprung rigid axles. It was available as a four-seat touring car or four-door sedan.

Until 1923 350 copies were produced.
