Audience award

Under Audience Award is understood an award, where the audience - such as during a jazz festival or of an artistic competition - the winners honors by vote or acclamation. The vote may also occur during a television broadcast, including by phone or over the Internet.

In contrast, it is called jury award when a jury makes the selection, or special rates when the award ceremony other objectives.
