Auerbach is a district of the municipality Horgau in the Swabian district of Augsburg in Bavaria. Still belongs to the boundaries of the hamlet Lindgraben.

Geography

Auerbach is located in the Natural Park of the Augsburg Western Woods, about 18 km west of Augsburg on the main road 10 ( Augsburg- Ulm). The Rothsee at Zusmarshausen is about 4 km away. History

Auerbach 's (11th -13th century) emerged as Rodungsort in the second clearance period.
