August Nörmiger

August Nörmiger (* around 1560 in Dresden, † 1613 ) was a German composer.

August ( sometimes Augustus ) Nörmiger was court organist in Dresden. Our main source of his musical work is a handwritten piano book in German organ tablature, the so-called " tablature auff the instruments ", which he put together in 1598 for Princess Sophie of Saxony. In this collection, there is probably in no small part to Neusetzungen older sources. This Nörmiger are, however, no evidence of the material used by him.
