August Riedinger

August Riedinger ( born October 9, 1845 in Augsburg, † January 15, 1919 ) was a German entrepreneur.

Life

August Riedinger, was born in 1845 as son of Ludwig August Riedinger, a company engaged in Augsburg entrepreneurs. He studied at the Zurich Polytechnic, and then became a partner in his father's machine and bronze ware factory one, which he headed from 1883. August Riedinger was married twice. His first wife Anna (1848-1882) was the daughter of Max von Pettenkofer. After her untimely death in 1883 he married Bertha Brandenberger, the daughter of the technical director of the Augsburg cotton mill at the local stream. With two wives Riedinger had a son and a daughter each.
