Aura Noir

Aura Noir is a Thrash-Metal-/Black-Metal-Band from Oslo, Norway. Aura Noir has very strong influences of early thrash metal bands like Kreator, other German thrash metal bands and Slayer. In their lyrics it comes to blasphemy, death, and aggressiveness.

History

The band was founded at the end to play even more unusual music 1993 from Aggressor (Carl -Michael Eide ) as a side project to Ved Buens. He wrote some songs and asked Apollyon ( Ole Jørgen Moe ) to help him when playing the guitar tracks, but the studio rejected his ideas and decided to use that time unpopular old-school thrash. After a few demo recordings of their first EP Dreams Like Deserts in 1995 by Hot Records was published. After that, the band played several concerts in Oslo, for which they needed an additional member and former Mayhem guitarist Blasphemer ( Rune Eriksen ) recorded. The band moved to Malicious Records and played in the new line-up released their debut album Black Thrash Attack one. Launched on Hammerheart Records second album Deep Tracts of Hell was recorded without Blasphemer who played during the recordings with Mayhem in the United States.

In 2004, she signed the first band to the label Tyrant Syndicate Productions, a subsidiary label of Peaceville Records, run by Nocturno Culto and Fenriz (both members of the band Darkthrone ). There, her next album, The Merciless was published, in which Fenriz of Darkthrone and Nattefrost ( Roger Rasmussen) from Carpathian Forest and Nattefrost can be heard as a guest singer.

Due to an accident aggressor the activities of the band were interrupted. In May 2006, the aggressor was a guest in the Norwegian radio program tinnitus, where he confirmed that he was paralyzed because of the accident from the ankles and therefore 'm in a wheelchair. On August 22, 2008, the fourth studio album Hades Rise appeared. Since then, concerts were again played with several replacement drummers, for example, on 25 October 2009 at the Aurora Infernalis Festival in Arnhem with the former drummer Perished Jehmod. During her performance at the 2010 Party.San aggressor came spontaneously to the band and sang, still on crutches, the song Sons of Hades.
