Aurimas Kučys

Aurimas Kučys ( born February 22, 1981 in Panevėžys) is a Lithuanian footballer. He plays since 2010 in Ekranas Panevezys in the A Lyga, the highest Lithuanian league.

Career

Kučys began his career at Ekranas Panevezys, where he was brought into the first team in 1998. In its first year the club finished fifth. 2000 could be achieved in the championship of the fourth place, further could the team win the Lithuanian Cup. 2005, the first championship title was won in the career of defensive midfielder, also the club won the 2006 Supercup next to the runner-up title.

In 2007 he moved to FC Daugava Daugavpils in Latvia. The club finished fifth in the final table. Then he moved to the Ukraine and played until July 2009 when FC Navtoyk Ochtyrka in the local second division. In the fall of 2009 he was at FC Zakarpattia Uzhhorod under contract. In January 2010, he returned to his original club Ekranas Panevezys.

For Lithuania, he has so far completed 17 internationals. His debut was already 2002.
