The Auschnippe is a 14.3 km long, left or southern tributary of Schwülme in the district of Göttingen in southern Lower Saxony ( Germany ).

The creek originates Dransfelder city forest in Mittelgebirgszug. Its source is located north- northwest of the Hohen Hagen (about 480 m above sea level. NN ) made ​​up of one source on the western slope of the mountain Bruns ( 480.2 m above sea level. NN ) and on the eastern slope of the Hengelsbergs ( 463 m above sea level. NN ). The Auschnippe leaves the Dransfelder city forest flowing in a northerly direction and then passes through Dransfeld where they pass under the B3 and the Dransfelder ramp ( section of the former route of the Hanoverian Southern Railway ). Further north, it passes fluent Adelebsen - Güntersen in the west and in the east Adelebsen - Barterode without flow through these villages directly. Between the two villages are the Upper, Middle and Lower Auschnippemühle the stream. Below these mills it passes east-northeast of Adelebsen - Eberhausen the paper mill Eberhausen.

A little further north-northwest opens the Auschnippe after crossing the railway line Göttingen- ground field (upper Weser Railway ) approximately 3 km west-southwest of Adelebsen along Route 554 in the Schwülme, an eastern tributary of the upper Weser.
