Exterior

The Australian Stock Horse is a the American Quarter Horse in type resembling, medium-sized and sturdy workhorse. In the mixed type, it is close to the English Thoroughbred, with a medium size head and a strong, short neck. The shoulder is well placed and wide, the withers pronounced weak.
