Austria at the 1932 Winter Olympics

Austria took part in the IV Olympic Winter Games 1932 in Lake Placid with a delegation of at least seven athletes, including with Friederike Burger Russel only a lady part. For the first time sent Austria a bobsled team in the race.

The trip to the Olympic Games in Lake Placid threw the Austrians on largest funding concerns. Only donations from abroad Austrians allowed Gregor Hoell and Harald Bosio participation. In the U.S., strengthened still Harald paumgarten the team. As already four years ago in St. Moritz also prevented in Lake Placid adversity good rankings of the Austrians.
