Harald Bosio

Harald Bosio ( born January 2, 1906 in Jews castle / Styria, † 1980) was an Austrian cross-country skiing, ski jumping and Nordic combined, which was active in the 1920s and 1930s. The trained dentist came to the country Ski for Vienna and Lower Austria.

Career

Bosio took 1928 for the first time at the Olympic Winter Games in St. Moritz. In Nordic Combined, he finished doing Rank 29 In the 1932 Olympics in Lake Placid, he competed in two disciplines. In the 18 -km cross-country Bosio was with the 21 best Austrian court, while he again was ranked 29 in the Nordic combined. In the Nordic World Ski Championships 1933 in Innsbruck Bosio won the bronze medal in the Nordic combined; be sporty greatest success and also the first medal for Austria at a Nordic World Ski Championships. In 1936 he was at the Olympic Winter Games in Garmisch -Partenkirchen in the 18- km race 28th and finished with the 4 × 10 km relay eighth.
