The Austrochilidae are a family of Real spiders. It includes nine species in three genera. Two genera ( Austrochilus, Thaida ) are endemic in the Andean mountain forests in central and southern Chile and neighboring Argentina. The third genus, Hickmania is endemic to Tasmania.
