Authenticity Party

The Authenticity Party (Arabic حزب الأصالة, DMG Hizb al - Asala ) is a political party in Egypt, which was founded after the revolution in 2011. It is considered a Salafist and Islamist. Among its goals, the introduction of Sharia.

In the parliamentary elections it won with the Alliance Party of Islamic block three out of 127 seats. In addition to the authenticity party belongs to the Alliance, the party of light and the structure and development of party Gamaa Islamiya. In the presidential elections in Egypt in 2012, the authenticity party with Abdullah al - Asch'al stood as a candidate.
