Auwers (crater)

Auwers is a small impact crater on Earth's Moon. It is located in the mountainous region of Montes Haemus on the southern edge of Mare Serenitatis southeast of the crater Menelaus. To the east of the crater Al- Bakri is recognizable.

The irregular rim of Auwers has, in the north- western region, a gap which gave access to the crater interior lava flows.
