Listlessness ( watered down listlessness, lack of motivation or lack of drive ) denotes the state of a man, which is interpreted by himself or his environment as a psycho-physical weakness. The person is hard to motivate and shows enthusiasm for anything.

Listlessness can have various causes, such as depression, but insufficient as the sole symptom, schizophrenia, underactive thyroid, iodine deficiency and vitamin B deficiency.
