Avram Grant

Avraham " Avram " Grant (Hebrew אַבְרָהָם גְרַנט; born May 6, 1955 in Petah Tikva ) is an Israeli football coach and manager.

Career

Grant began his coaching career in 1972 as a youth coach of his home club Hapoel Petah Tikva until 1986, he was appointed to the A- team. As a first success, he was able to record winning the Toto Cup, he could still win as a professional coach with the team in his first year. In 1990, he repeated this success. As of 1991, followed by coach stations at renowned clubs such as the Israeli Maccabi Tel Aviv and Maccabi Haifa. In 2002 he was appointed coach of the Israeli national football team, replacing Richard Møller Nielsen the Danes.
