Awdy Kulyýew

Awdy Kulyýew ( born July 30, 1936 in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, † 10 April, 2007 Oslo, Norway ) is a Turkmen politician in exile and former foreign and Foreign Trade Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan.

Role in Turkmenistan

Awdy Kulyýew was in the early 1990s Minister of Turkmenistan Saparmurat Niyazov in the cabinet of dictator. As of April 1998 stood Kulyýew under house arrest in Aşgabad because it contacts with the exiled opposition have been rumored.

Work in exile

Awdy Kulyýew later lived in Norway. Previously, he worked in Moscow as head of the opposition group "Fund Turkmenistan ". After the death of Niyazov Kulyýew planned according headlines a " flour Revolution " to their achievement but it never came.
