Axel Schaumann

Axel Schaumann ( born July 4, 1961 in Stuttgart ) is a retired German hurdler, who specializes in the 110-meter distance.

In the Indoor Athletics European Championships, he was in Milan in 1982 and 1983 in Budapest fourth positions respectively 60m hurdles. At the World Athletics Championships 1983 in Helsinki, he left in the flow.

In 1983 he became German champion. In the hall he was from 1982 to 1984 for three consecutive times German champion.

Axel Schaumann launched until 1983 for the LG Kappelberg, then for the MTV Stuttgart.
