Aya Sameshima

Aya Sameshima (Japanese鲛 岛 彩, Aya Sameshima, born June 16, 1987 in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture) is a Japanese football player.

Career

Clubs

Sameshima played in the years 2006 to 2011 with the club Tepco Mareeze, business club of the power company Tepco. In parallel, she worked to nuclear disaster in Fukushima nuclear power plant in Fukushima Daiichi, after the disaster, Tepco Mareeze withdrew from the match operation. Sameshima trained from March 2011 with the Boston Breakers, where she signed a contract in June 2011. In September 2011 she joined the French Erstdivisionär HSC Montpellier, in which already played her compatriot Rumi Utsugi. Since the season 2014, it is in the U.S. Franchise Houston Dash under contract.

National

Sameshima participated in Malaysia at the U-19 Asia Cup 2006. In its first international match on 31 May 2008 as part of the Asia Championship her immediately succeeded her first goal. Sameshima completed all six games at the World Cup 2011 in Germany.

She also belonged to the squad for the Olympic football tournament in London and arrived there in five of six tournament games for use, including in the 1:2 lost against the choice of the United States finals.
