Aysel Gürel

Aysel Gürel ( born February 7, 1929 in Denizli, † February 17, 2008 in Istanbul) was a Turkish actress and poetess.

She studied Turkish literature and Turkish Studies at the University of Istanbul.

In 1983, she wrote the lyrics of the Turkish contribution to the Euro Vision Song Contest "Opera". The Artist Çetin Alp achieved the worst result of all Turkish posts, zero points. In 1991, she wrote the text of a Turkish contribution one more time. With " İki dakika " reached the performer İzel Çeliköz, Reyhan Karaca and Can Uğurluer the 12th Place.

Many of their lyrics were by famous artists like Sezen Aksu (eg Değer mi?, Hadi bakalım, Ne kavgam bitti, ne Sevdam ) sung and became big hits. It has Hadi bakalım managed in the European charts in the early 1990s. Also it has some song compositions written such as Sertab Erener 's hit Yanarım. In the 1990s and 2000s, she worked with Tarkan together un controlled for several songs lyrics at.

She is the mother of the Turkish actresses Müjde Ar and Ar Mehtap. She died of chronic bronchitis.
